Week 1 To-Dos

Each week I have a list of to-dos that’s charted to our master timeline.  We’ve also got a running wunderlist to keep us on task.  I’ll try to post the to-do list here every weekend for the following week.  If there’s any task you want to get involved with, feel free to let me know and I’ll give you details on what’s going on.

  • Pick out appliances
  • Pick out/Purchase Exterior Doors and Locks
  • Finish Key Bank Loan
  • Quote Lolly column replacement
  • Quote for termite control
  • Call Water Company to initiate water meter installation
  • Initiative turn on gas and check meter
  • Plan plumbing system, order parts
  • Pull Permits @ City Office
  • File for Certificate of Occupancy
  • Begin basement work if permits clear
  • Buy tools (including a ladder)
  • Repair rear steps and make rear entrance functional
  • Take up kind offers of tool lending and support
  • Start demolition if permits come in (addition, kitchen, living room, flooring)
  • Repair gutter downspouts, clean and clear system, patch holes as needed

  1. Oh, right… we have to plan the plumbing and get that stuff ordered. *gulp*

    I think we should order plumbing kit at the same time as the hot water heater if we’re getting it all from pexsupply.com . Hmm… we probably need that loan to come in first, though…
